Primula wolongensis W.B.Ju, Bo Xu & X.F.Gao

Type specimen: Y.H. Cheng & H.Q. Lin XuBo2771 resides at CDBI (holotype) and KUN, PE (isotypes).

Epithet: Named for the type locality, Wolong National Nature Reserve, Sichuan.
Distribution: Sichuan, China.

Described as being similar to P. arunachalensis, but with shorter rootstocks, petioles 3-5x as long as the leaf blade, reticulation of veins obscure on both surfaces, corolla lobes emarginate, flowers heterostylous. Also compared with P. fenghwaiana, but petioles 3-5x as along as the leaf blade, leaf base cordate, margin irregular dentate, scapes and pedicles sparsely short-stalked glandular, corolla yellow and stamen position in thrum flowers in the middle of the tube. Grows in the cracks of steep wet cliffs covered with moss above the tree line and is only known from the type locality.
