Primula pskemensis Lazkov, Novosti Sist. Vyssh. Rast. 36:36 (fig 4). 2004.

Section Cortusoides
Type specimen: G.Lazkov & N.Kenzhebaeva s.n. 17 June 2003 (Kyrgyzstania, Jugum Pskemense, in cursu superiore fluvii Alma-Sai (affluentia dextra fluvii Sandalasch), in rupibus) resides at LE (holotype) and FRU (isotype).

Epithet: Named for the Pskemense mountain range.
Distribution: Western Kyrgyzstan

P. pskemensis was described in 2004 by Lazkov from specimens collected in the Pskemense Range of West West Kyrgyzstan the year before. The figure included with the description is of the holotype sheet. This species is very close to P. eugeniae but differs by the glandular, pubescent calyx and smaller flowers.
