Primula grandis Trautv., Bull. Acad. Imp. Sci. Saint-Petersbourg 10:395. 1866.

Section Primula
Type specimen: Radde s.n. June 1855. resides at Leningrad.

Distribution: Endemic to N and W Caucasus.

P. grandis was formerly thought to belong to a separate monotypic Genus, Sredinskya. Genetic analysis has proved that it belongs in the Genus Primula, Section Primula, despite having flowers like no other Primula species.
