Epithet: Named for the State of Utah.
Distribution: Utah, USA.

Endemic to the Big Cottonwood Canyon area of Utah and found hanging from steep limestone canyon walls or in rock cracks in shade. Flowers pale lavender to pink with a white or yellow tube and a thin, wavy reddish ring, connective smooth and dark purple. Leaves oblanceolate to broadly elliptic, glabrous, abruptly tapering to a slender petiole Can have a narrow caudex with trailing leaves and roots.
