Type specimen: Soulié, J.A. 3804 resides at Paris Museum (specimen P00649678).
Synonym: P. yuana

P. tzetsouensis is found in Jiulong shan and Yajiang shan, near Garze in SW Sichuan. The corolla is yellow and can be strongly reflexed. The leaves have a long petiole and the leaf blade has an acute apex and rounded or cordate base. Scapes to 29cm. See related P. handeliana and P. szechuanica.
