Primula szechuanica (Section Crystallophlomis)

P. szechuanica is an efarinose species with reflexed (bent backwards) petals and leaves with an attenuate base. It grows in meadows and forest margins in W Sichuan and NW Yunnan. P. aemula is considered to be a synonym by Richards, but a separate species by Flora of China. See also other yellow flowered species: advena, aemula, handeliana, tzetsouensis, soongii and orbicularis.
