Primula simensis (Section Sphondylia)
P. simensis is a disjunct, heavily farinous species found in Ethiopia and may be considered a subspecies of P. verticillata. There is some indication that there are crossability barriers with P. verticillata so it is best kept at species status. Research into this would be welcome as would additional images from the wild (Simien National Park, Ethiopia or elsewhere).
