Primula pellucida Franch.

Type specimen: Delavay 2274 resides at P (specimen P04544677, P04544679).

Primula debilis (syn.) Bonati. Type specimen: Ducloux 562 resides at E (specimen E00024167) and UC (specimen UC387256).
Primula speluncicola (syn.) Petitm. Type specimen: Ducloux 2020 resides at K (specimen K000750028) and P (specimen P04544678).

Epithet: Named for its thin transparent texture.
Distribution: Yunnan, Sichuan, China.

Primula pellucida was originally collected at Tchen-fon-chan, NE Yunnan. It is efarinose, with a slender habit, thin textured leaves with scattered articulate hairs and a calyx with lobes ovate-lanceolate with a recurved subulate apex. Leaves are ovate to oblong, rounded at the apex, more of less cordate at the base and margin crenate-dentate with teeth obtuse or acute and sometimes toothed again. Flowers are rose-pink, heteromorphic and emarginate.
