Epithet: Named for Palinuro, Italy where this species grows.
Distribution: Italy

Related to and similar to Primula auricula but endemic to the sea cliffs of southern Italy. Yellow flowered with dense white farina on the apex of the scape, bracts and calyx. Leaves efarinose, glandular-pubescent with a dentate margin. This species is endangered.
