Distribution: China, Sichuan (Muli)

Inhabits moist pastures and wet limestone rocks at 4000-5000m in Muli. Similar to P. fasciculata but with larger flowers. Efarinose, glabrous leaves with a distinct petiole and often with a few blunt teeth on the margin. Flowers purple with a yellow eye, annulate and deeply emarginate.
