Reference Paper: Koontz, A., Pearse, W.D., Wolk, P. Pronounced Genetic Separation Among Varieties of the Primula cusickiana Species Complex, a Great Basin Endemic

Epithet: Named for the state of Nevada.
Distribution: Nevada, USA.

This species has been lumped under P. cusickiana but recent studies show that the original classification at the species level should be reinstated (see Reference paper). Similar to P. domensis in being glandular-pubescent. Calyx and bracts farinose and corolla tube 1.5 X the calyx. Distinctions exist between the Snake Range (type) population and the Grant Range population and this requires further work.
