Primula minutissima (Section Minutissimae)

P. minutissima is a stoniferous species which forms mats in mossy areas, turf and north facing slopes. The leaves are pointed and yellow farina is present underneath. Distributed in the NW and W Himalaya to W and C Nepal. Can be confused with P. reptans where they meet in Himachal Pradesh, but the leaves and farina are diagnostic.
