The most current taxonomy has this species as Primula chionantha subsp. melanops (A.J.Richards), though so many people know the name, I have placed it separately for clarity. This follows the Flora of China. It closely resembles P. sinopurpurea (also included in P. chionanatha), but distinguished by being smaller, having white farina, deep purple flowers with a black center and a long cylidrical capsule. Only found in Muli. If you have an image of this species, please contact the webmaster. 如果你有这个物种的图像,请与网站管理员联系。
