Epithet: Named for the original collectors.
Distribution: Utah, USA.

This species has been lumped under P. cusickiana but recent studies show that the original classification at the species level should be reinstated (see Reference paper). A glabrous species and distinguished from P. cusickiana by having a corolla tube length of 2 X the calyx. Endemic to the Logan Canyon Area, Utah.
