Primula longistyla X.D.Ma & J.Y.Shen

Type specimen: Jian-Yong Shen & Xing-Da Ma 2396 resides at HITBC, isotypes at HITBC, KUN, PE.

Epithet: Named for its long style, usually exceeding the corolla.
Distribution: Yunnan, China.

This species is only known from the tourist site of Sigangli Cave, Yunnan. It is similar to P. densa, but is distinguished by its larger and densely villous leaves, homostylous flowers, longer and densely villous calyces, exannulate and villous corolla, longer corolla tube (to 4 times the calyx), large limb and long styles (often protruding from the corolla tube). It differs from P. filipes by its larger leaves, longer petioles, longer scapes, cup-shaped calyx , corolla with short glandular hairs at throat and longer tubes with styles protruding, villous outside.
