Primula longistamina B.Hajong, Harsh Singh & P.Bharali Phytotaxa 715 (3): 287. 2025

Type specimen: B. Hajong BH060 resdies at CAL (holotype), ASSAM (isotype).

Epithet: Named for the long stamens.
Distribution: E Arunachal Pradesh, India.

A stoloniferous species closely related to Primula lacerata but distinguished by longer petioles, pedicel and calyx, exannulate pale violet corolla with a tomentose throat and longer style. Primula longistamina is efarinose, leaves glabrous, orbicular, apex obtuse to rounded, margin irregularly and shallowly dentate to denticulate, base shallow cordate to truncate. Petioles distinct. Calyx campanulate, parted to 1/2, lobes spreading, apex acuminate to apiculate, minutely pubescent. Scape bears a single umbel of 3-5 heterostylous, exannulate, pale violet flowers with an yellow to orange eye, white villous at throat and inside tube.
