Primula lithophila F.H.Chen & C.M.Hu

Type specimen: Bijie Exped. 1624 resides at PE (specimens 01432451, 02232879, 02232880).

Epithet: Named for growing on rocks.
Distribution: NW Guizhou, China.

An efarinose species, with leaves suborbicular, sparsely pilose above and on veins below, base cordate, margin obscurely crenate, petioles densely pilose. Scapes to 15cm, 1-3 umbels of rose flowers, calyx narrowly campanulate with hairs on the outside and parted to 1/3. Capsule cylindrical. Compared with P. cavaleriei but distinguished by longer narrowly campanulate calyx parted to 1/3 and by having a cylindrical capsule.
