Primula geranophylla Kovalevsk., Not. Syst. Herb. Inst. Bot. Acad. Sci. Uzbekistan. xv. 14 (1959).

Section Cortusoides Subsection Geranioides
Type specimen: Kovalevskaja? resides at TAD? LE?, See P (specimen P04522106).

Epithet: Named for the leaf shape.
Distribution: Tajikistan.

If you have a copy of the original description, please contact the webmaster. This species grows in moist, cooler habitats under overhanging rocks, edge of caves, where water drips from the cliffs. Leaves are roughly orbicular, divided into lobes, each lobe dentate, palmate veined and with a distinct hairy petiole.
