Epithet: Named for the flexuous stem?
Distribution: Tajikistan.

Endemic to the Schugnan in Tajikistan, this plant is little known. Apparently efarinose but with farinipotent glands along the leaf margins. Leaves oblong-elliptic with a long winged petiole to 3x the blade, irregularily toothed and foveolate on both surfaces. Bracts saccate at the base. Umbel slightly nodding with 3-10 flowers, corolla annulate, lilac with a yellow eye, tube 2x the calyx. If you have an image of this species, please contact the webmaster.
