P. lecomtei (syn): Petitmengin, Monde Pl. II, 17:216. 1907. Type specimen: Wilson 4040 resides at Paris (specimen P04588096)and Herbarium Hamburgense (specimen HBG510914) and Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh herbarium (specimen E00024798).

Epithet: Named for Rev. E. Faber
Distribution: SW Sichuan, NE Yunnan, China.

A yellow flowered, efarinose species distinguished by other members of the Section by the large bracts which almost conceal the calyx, and by the compact inflorescence with short pedicels. The leaves are oblong to oblanceolate, with an irregularly denticulate cartilaginous margin, pointed at the apex. Grows in wet areas in mountain meadows and pastures.
