Type specimen: Kingdon-Ward 7052 resides at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (specimens E00024546, E00024547).

Epithet: Named for ?
Distribution: Myanmar (Burma).

P. euchaites is endemic to Seinghku Wang, NW Myanmar (Burma) and was only collected once in 1926 on limestone cliffs. It has not have been seen since. It is small, to 8cm, with violet flowers and black hairs on the calyx. Efarinous. Primula concholoba grows in the same area and is similar.
