Type specimen: Cooper 4236 resides at E (specimens E00024569, E00024570) and US (specimen US00116469) and P (specimen P04571935).

Primula harroviana (syn): Balf.f. & R.E.Cooper. Type specimen: Cooper 4975 resides at E (specimens E00024735, E00024736).

Epithet: Named for the ivory white corolla.
Distribution: Bhutan-Tibet-India border region.

Found in the area of Narim Thang, Bhutan and Cha La, Tibet and recently Tawang, India. This species has elliptic to oblong or ovate leaves, rounded at the apex, tapering into a winged petiole, dentate or dentate lobulate at the margin and minutely glandular. Corolla is funnel-shaped, cream white, without an eye, lobes broadly rounded and irregularly notched. See related P. reidii, P. wigramiana and P. umbratilis var. alba.
