Primula dejuniana G.Hao, C.M.Hu & Yuan Xu

Type specimen: Y. Xu & S. Yuan Xul40005 (holotype) resides at IBSC and X.L. Jiang (H.L. Tsiang) 11201 and Y. Xu & TJ. Liu Xul40128 (paratypes) reside at IBSC.

Epithet: Named for Prof. Yu Dejun (Yu Te Tsun).
Distribution: Sichuan, China.

P. dejuniana is distinguished by its acute, apiculate leaves with sharply dentate leaf margins. It was originally compared with P. davidii but with distinct petioles, corolla tube 2x calyx and P. tenuituba, but with a hairy scape and distinct petioles. Flowers early in February - March. Described from Jia Jiang Xian and Hong Ya Xian, Sichuan, but now found at multiple locations in the area. Compare with P. meishanensis.
