Type specimen: Limpricht 1932 resides at WU (specimen WU 0059712 ) and E (specimen E00024553) also Limpricht 2027, 2032 (isosyntypes) resides at WU (specimen WU 0059713 ) and E (specimens E00024555, E00024556, E00024554).

Epithet: Named for the crocus like leaves.
Distribution: Sichuan, China.

Found only by Limpricht growing on screes near Dawo and Schtiala, Sichuan. This is a small species to 8cm, with yellow flowers, oblong lobes entire. The most striking feature are the very narrow leaves, white farinose below and with slightly dentate margins.
