Primula anthemifolia G. Hao, C.M.Hu & Yaun Xu, Ann. Bot. Fennici 52: 373-375, 2015. (Drawing included in description)

Section Aleuritia, Subsection Glabra
Type specimen: Y. Xu & T.J. Liu Xu140168 and paratype Y. Xu et al. Xu140213 resides at South China Botanical Garden, Guangdong, Guangzhou.

Epithet: Named for the leaves which resemble those of Anthemis.
Distribution: Sichuan.

A newly described species related to P. glabra but distinctive within the Subsection by having leaves pinnately lobed to the midvein. This species was assigned to Subsection Glabra based on it's small size (3-5cm), the compact heads of flowers, the calyx equalling the corolla tube and the calyx lobes being oblong. The authors provide a key to distinguish it from other members of the Subsection and also provide a key to distinguish from other species which have pinnatisected leaves. Notable, however is that P. laciniata is not included in that key though it is also found in Sichuan. If you have an image of this species, please contact the webmaster. 如果你有这个物种的图像,请与网站管理员联系。
