Primula anthemifolia G.Hao, C.M.Hu & Yuan

Section Aleuritia, Subsection Glabra
Type specimen: Y. Xu & T.J. Liu Xu140168 (holotype) and Y. Xu et al. Xu140213 (paratype) reside at IBSC.

Epithet: Named for the leaves which resemble those of Anthemis.
Distribution: Sichuan.

A species related to P. glabra but distinctive within the Subsection by having dimorphic leaves some of which are pinnately lobed to the midvein, though this extreme lobing is not seen in the field images. P. anthemifolia was assigned to Subsection Glabra based on it's small size (3-5cm), the compact heads of flowers, the calyx equalling the corolla tube and the calyx lobes being oblong. The authors provide a key to distinguish it from other members of the Subsection and also provide a key to distinguish from other species which have pinnatisected leaves.
