Type P. flavicans (syn) specimen: Handel-Mazzetti 6241 at Vienna, Handel-Mazzetti in Kaiserl. Akad. Wiss. Wien, Math.-Naturwiss. Kl., Anz. 61:131, 1924.

P. ambita is related to P. obconica but has distinctive compact umbels of yellow flowers and foliaceous bracts. It is found in Yunnan. If you have an image of this species, please contact the webmaster.
